There was a better quality version of Montana, with FZ on MTV on Holloween, but he wasn’t playing guitar, just singing.

Didn’t you ever see the Frank Zappa playing the bicycle thing with Steve Allen? It was like from 62 or 63 like really old b/w clip. I don’t know where to find it. He plays bicycle wheel spokes and other parts… kinda vague memory of it…

I’ve only seen the part of that where Steve Allen introduces Zappa, but I’ve never seen the part where FZ actually plays the bicycle.

Strangely enough, today on KPCC they were interviewing a couple of guys from the Steve Allen theater here in Hollywood, and one of them mentioned that very scene from when Allen hosted the Tonight Show.
