I don’t know what the real name of this plant is, but when the plant dries up in the summer, the little seed pods stick in your socks when you go hiking.

I was sitting in the Hip Boss’ office with my back to the window. He says, “Cool sunset.” I look, yeah, it’s cool. He says, “You should take a picture of that.” I look again, and realize he’s right. There’s a really odd cloud formation, and the sunset is casting shadows from the lower clouds to the higher ones.

Got stuck behind this motorcade on the way to work. Took the picture with my cell phone. There were four limos, about ten motorcycle cops, and about seven to ten police cars.
